The landscape is made up of a calm ocean, long beaches, green grass and iconic checkerboard rock faces, with a large stone temple dominating the view. Seaside Hill is a tranquil, oceanic coastal area. Previous: N/A (Team Sonic, Dark, Chaotix), Sea Gate (Team Rose).The version of Seaside Hill in Multiplayer takes place at sunset, and uses Sea Gate's BGM. After completing Seaside Hill, the player will move on to Ocean Palace. The overall aesthetic homages Green Hill Zone, making use of both checkered terrain and palm trees in its design.
The level takes place on a tropical island, where the player travserses a series of beaches and grassy cliffsides. Seaside Hill is the first level in Sonic Heroes for all teams except Team Rose, who begin with Sea Gate. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.
