Can't see the first person body (have a mod that lets you see your chest, legs & feet. Can still see hands and weapons in 1rst person. She has a shadow and sometimes, briefly you can see her body when switching back and forth from 1rst to 3rd person while jumping around but it fades away entirely very quickly. It has nothing to do with missing meshes/textures, I know what those look like. Removing that mod had no effect other than making my game unplayable. It started around the time I played a continue after ending mod (not CAGE) from a long time ago. I've had this problem on one of my toons for quite a long time and have never been able to fix it permanently. PS: I never encountered this problem in Fallout 3 before, which is strange, I think. If I load another save after that one, the character of the second save turns invisible too. One of the characters wear the Legate Armor(that I tagged as playable using the GECK), and the problem occurs if I load that save first. Because you see, I have three characters. Starke's Seperate Chinese Stealth Armor Helmet NV (OA Version).espĪlso, I think the problem is with one of the save files, not all. The only way to be visible again is to die and let the game load the latest save.

I tried changing the apparel I wear, but that did not affect anything at all. NPC do see me and act according to my actions. In first person view, everything works fine. I'm not talking about the stealth field, it turns COMPLETELY invisible, like NOTHING is in there. High DT protection and no speed penalty.Open loading a save, on third person view, my character turns invisible. And with jury rigging it can be repaired using any medium apparel. The speed difference simply isn't enough, if you want some extra speed wear the Telsa power armor which is classified as medium and has only slightly less DT protection then the regular Remnant power armor. And as your engaging those foes up close and personal you want that extra DT.

Then of course melee attacks tend to deal a lot more damage then firearms. against bigger guns your going to want that extra protection. You will run much faster - and get shot less, reducing the need to soak damage.Īlso might want a 1-hander to compliment your 2-hander, you will move faster.īut then your not really soaking as much damage, if its small arms fire then it really doesn't matter its not a threat to you, a stimpack and your healing faster then your hurt. Then get the travel light perk, oh and have 10 Agility. And get sub dermal implant & toughness x2. Why not go with light armor - best I know of is reinforced leather.
